A three-day outdoor music and culinary festival in Wichita required full-scale portable sanitation for an anticipated crowd of more than 15,000 visitors. The festival grounds spanned a large outdoor venue near the Riverside area, with multiple stages, food vendor rows, a craft beer garden, VIP hospitality tents, and a family activity zone spread across the property.
The event organizers faced several specific challenges. The multi-zone layout meant that a single restroom location would create unacceptable walk times for guests at the far ends of the grounds.
