A bride and groom organizing a refined outdoor celebration at a rural estate east of Wichita, near the College Hill area, faced a common challenge: the rustic property offered stunning scenery, a beautiful ceremony meadow, and a charming reception barn — but had no permanent restroom facilities capable of serving 250 wedding guests.
The bride and groom were clear about their expectations. Standard portable restrooms were not an option. They wanted a restroom experience that felt like an extension of the wedding venue — elegant, comfortable, and nothing like a typical porta potty. Guests included elderly family members who needed accessibility features, and the wedding would extend into the evening hours, requiring interior lighting and climate control.
The property's rural location also presented logistical challenges. The estate was accessed via a narrow county road, power availability was limited to a single 50-amp service at the barn, and the delivery route required navigating unpaved sections of the property.
Initial Assessment
Our team visited the countryside estate four weeks before the wedding to conduct a thorough site assessment. We walked the property with the wedding planner, evaluated the ceremony and reception areas, and identified optimal placement locations for restroom facilities.

Portable hand wash stations were stocked with designer hand soap, premium paper towels, and hand lotion — selected by the bride to match the wedding's aesthetic. Small floral arrangements on each sink station tied the restroom experience into the wedding's overall decor.
Placement and Aesthetic Integration
We positioned the primary luxury trailer and accompanying units behind the reception barn, concealed by the natural tree line. A flagstone pathway — laid by the venue's landscaping team — connected the barn to the restroom area, lined with string lights and small floral markers that matched the wedding decor.
A secondary station with one luxury trailer and one ADA unit was positioned near the ceremony meadow for use during the ceremony and cocktail hour, then served as supplemental capacity during the reception.
Servicing Schedule
We performed a full service and inspection the morning of the wedding, including a final clean, chemical treatment, supply stocking, and presentation check. A mid-event service was conducted during dinner (when restroom usage naturally decreases) to ensure facilities were pristine for the evening dancing and celebration. A dedicated restroom attendant was on-site from cocktail hour through the final hour of the reception.
